Pivotal Systems Appoints Semiconductor Industry Veteran Paul Totten as Senior Vice President of Sales and Marketing

Fremont, California – September 23, 2026 

Paul Totten brings more than 35 years of experience in the design, manufacturing, and service of critical gas and liquid delivery systems, with a primary focus on mass flow control, serving both integrated device manufacturers (IDMs) and original equipment manufacturers (OEMs) in the semiconductor industry. Prior to joining Pivotal Systems, he served as Director of Sales and Marketing at HORIBA.

Paul began his career in 1988 at Air Products in the UK, where he worked on the commissioning and certification of ultra-high-purity gas distribution systems at semiconductor fabs in Scotland and Italy. He later held leadership roles in quality, service, operations, marketing, and sales in the United States at Unit Instruments, Celerity, and Swagelok before joining HORIBA in 2010.

In his new role, Paul will lead Pivotal’s Sales and Marketing organization in close partnership with R&D and Operations, with a focus on deepening customer relationships, driving revenue growth, and expanding the company’s presence with industry leaders worldwide.
